Well

Here I am.

New blog, new impetus.

I have to say, so far I’m loving this wordpress setup and functionality. It’s sweet n smooth. Like my men ;)

I’ve added a little ‘about me’ page, in case anyone stumbles across my new area of bloglandia so feel free to bone up on the main elements in my life. Today has been a spartan day. The food shelves are low, as is my budget. The need to create something however loomed, therefore I spent time on this place. The trouble with my current college projects are that they are all mostly based in the college. Sure I ‘could’ do something, but meh. My mother commented today that she hasn’t seen me be arty at weekends lately. She’s not wrong. With so little time left till the end of the course I really ought to be doing more, but I’ve rather a lot of other worries flowing about. Artistic constipation again.

You will thank me if you do!

  2. Ah David.. I see you have christened me! Lovely.
Senokot huh. I had that stuff once and couldn’t get off the loo! Not good.
    Hope you are well!

  3. Right, what you need is reality, not diarohea advice!

Brilliant of you to start a blogsite dedicated to your art. I wish you well and look forward to your postings and development. But don’t give up the Delboy blog. You have gathered a good following and we all hang on every posting!

Question: If you see yourself as an artist why do you call yourself an artisan? An artisan is a mechanic and you are an artist, so can you please change your title? I would rather follow an artist than an artisan!

I am as well as can be expected,
    DAVID

  4. Hey David.
This blog is a replacement of the other hun. I will be letting my blogging buddies know where I am soon. Once I’ve finished tweeking.
An artisan isn’t just a mechanic.. check out my ‘about’ page for clarification on that one.

  5. Hi Clair,
I am all for ambiguity, especially as defined at #3, and as for artisan, you obviously know what you are doing.

BTW if ever I get too cheeky you will be sure to put me straight won’t you? :o )
    xx

  6. You? Cheeky? Never! ;)

I wouldnt say I know what I’m doing re ‘artisan’ goes. I think that was sort of my point. I know I’m good at something.. just haven’t quite worked out what it is yet ha! Plus I am immensely ambitious (ambitious, ambiguous artisan ha) and want to excel in any area that I turn my hand to. Obviously it doesn’t work out that way! But that’s my inner striving pulse I suppose. A bit of a perfectionist. I think it’s the Virgo in me.

  7. I followed the crumbs … :-)
